Est. 1972Everything starts with design, and for the past two decades I have been creating design for the graphics and printing industries. Such services include logo creation stationery design for private and commercial clients. Business cards, letterheads, flyers and advertisements are typical projects undertaken on a daily basis and I also offer a printing service for many of these products as well.
Being creative is something I relish; I'm always looking for ways to incorporate new techniques or fonts into my design work but always maintaining the principles of good design, one thing I dislike most is bad design. I also offer my design skills to other printers and I constantly invest my time and money into the latest pre-press equipment and software so I can continue to offer a professional service.
Design is not only my living but my passion. Ever since I first learnt to Letraset I knew that the graphics industry was going to be my life and career. I consider myself one of the last of the "paste-up" generation as I learnt many of the traditional crafts of the trade before the advent of computers took away our Cow Gum! Since then of course, Apple computers are now an integral part of my job and I actively enjoy learning to become more creative through using new software, I also know what end to hold the Bezier tool. I have an unhealthy obsession in type and typography and have an ever growing collection of fonts. I take great pleasure in sorting my PostScripts from my OpenTypes!
More recently I have moved into website design and photography and the picture I took below was lucky enough to be placed as one of the runners-up in the Landscape Category of the BBC Countryfile Calendar Competition 2012.
