Photography
Another one of my creative outlets is through the medium of photography. I have been offering a pack-shot studio service for my clients for some time now but have recently discovered the joys of landscape photography, in particularly panoramic scenery.I really enjoy planning my location, waiting for the light, capturing the image, followed by the colour correcting and retouching processes in the digital darkroom. From nearly a thousand photographs I have created a distinctive panoramic image called Night & Day a scene of Southwold seafront in Suffolk. The whole picture took six months to complete demanding all of my Photoshop skills and over seventy-two hours to create.
More recently I was lucky enough to placed as runner-up in the Landscape Category of the BBC Countryfile Calendar Competition 2011 for my shot entitled Power Station Wreckage. There was in excess of 55,000 pictures submitted to the whole competition.
